September is wedding season in Maria Alm. English music is a must-have and whether the text is appropriate for the occasion or not, seems to be of no consequence. Barely one goes by without a rendition of Cohen's Halleluja, 'she tied you to the kitchen chair', and this week the choir serenaded the happy couple with Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' - 'you're going to wish you had never met me, tears are going to fall, we could have had it all'.
