Mary has now reached double figures. This coming of age signifies that she is now an official member of the Maria Alm Fire Brigade Junior Division, and has the honour, with her friend Nicole, of being the first girl in the team. At their evening meetings, united under the very original motto "One for All and All for One", they practise knots, set light to cars and smash windscreens with axes.
