Elizabeth is now 6, she is funny, lively, beautiful, clever and kind, but boy can she play up when the whim takes her. Our usual, mostly ineffective, method of discipline is to count to 5 and if the bad behaviour doesn't stop, well, then.... At the end of a birthday which also coincided with Easter Day and our wedding anniversary, and involved obscene amounts of chocolate and sweets, she was up to her usual tricks. Number 5 was reached and the umpteenth chocolate egg was denied her. She was furious at being so unfairly treated - apparently, now she is 6 we must count to 6 before she has to stop being naughty!
